Stainless sintered filter is a type of filter made up of stainless steel material. The sintering process is used to create a porous structure to the filter material, which provides efficient filtration of liquids and gases. This article aims to provide a detailed description of the manufacturing process of stainless sintered filter and its functions.

Production Process:

1. Powder Manufacturing: The manufacturing process starts by selecting high-quality stainless steel powders of different sizes. These stainless steel powders are then compressed into mechanical shapes using specialized machines.

2. Mixing of Powder: The different-sized powders are then mixed together to form a homogeneous mix.

3. Compaction: The mixed stainless steel powder is then put into a mold and compacted using a hydraulic press to create a green compact.

4. Debinding: The green compact is then subjected to debinding where it is heated to remove the binder that holds the powders together.

5. Sintering: The debound compact is heated again in a sintering furnace where it is heated to above the melting point of the stainless steel. This temperature causes the stainless steel particles to fuse together, forming a solid metal component with a high porosity.

6. Finishing: The sintered filter is then treated to a finishing process where it is cleaned, calibrated, and welded into its final shape.
