LOAD DIRECTION:
With no moving parts, Custom Sintered Flange Bushing are the simplest type of bearing. Compared to ball and roller bearings, they generally handle higher temperatures and perform better in dirty environments. They are also intended by design to be self-lubricating, maintenance free and low cost.
Dry lubrication of Bushing with solid lubricants under certain circumstances can achieve better friction coefficients than plastic bushings and casting bearings, for instance. Also Bushing with content of graphite could reduce running sounds and good running properties.
An additional lubricant enables the longer service life to be increased.
Bushing have a pore volume of between 15% to 30%, and these pores are used by oil impregnation for the bushing's entire service lifetime.
