Sintered parts
Jan 21, 2020
Sintered parts are sintered products that are formed by powder and reinforced by sintering. Sintered parts are usually characterized by precise tolerances and ease of installation. The material powder mixture also contains lubricants in order to reduce the friction generated during pressing. Powder mixtures are the first material for the manufacture of sintered parts. The base powder can be pure iron, low alloy steel, stainless steel or high-speed steel. The performance of the final part can be adjusted by using additives such as carbon, alloy ingenues, and cutting-edge enhancers. The powder mixture also contains lubricants in order to reduce the friction generated during pressing. The most common method of suppression is the method of axially suppressing in steel or carbide molds. Mechanical presses or hydraulic presses can generate demand pressure of 400-800 MPa. Parts of complex shapes can be pressed under a single-step procedure and are highly productive, up to 25 parts per minute. After pressing, the part can reach a predetermined shape and density. But this is not its final size or strength.
